This is the student’s drawing of our house. This is where the student spent more time in 2020 due to the pandemic. The student spent a lot of time with family, learned how to play different card games (beating all the family members in “Rummy” & became very good at math), practiced piano on the keyboard (we discovered the student has perfect pitch!), and filmed audition tapes for modeling. :)

This is the Souplantation restaurant near my school. When I was a little child, Mummy and Daddy often bring me there to have a meal. We had a lot of happy times there, the chicken noodle soup is yummy, I love to go there to eat after school. Oh, my mummy said the blueberry muffins is the best one she has tasted. I miss Souplantation and our fun times.

My happy place is my home with my family. I love being at home, and playing in my front yard with my brother. I play in the evening and I like going to school online and seeing my teacher Mrs.Moushon, and my friends Ayva, and Angela, and everyone else. My house is beautiful and it is my happy place.

My happy place is the beach, specifically in Hawaii. But since we couldn't go there because of the pandemic, I had to imagine I was there. What makes the beach my happy place is the sound of the waves, and the beautiful ocean scenery.

Entry Description:
Missing "C" (seeing) My Favorite Plaswijckpark in the Netherlands. This year, I could not revisit the Netherlands where I spent my happiest childhood till 5 years old due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I miss my friends and our happy time in Plaswijckpark in Rotterdam. I vividly remember my family and my best friends' family visited it frequently. I love and miss the flowers, trains, boats, rafts, various rides, and the indoor playground tremendously. After visiting so many parks in different countries, Plaswijckpark is always the happiest place in my memory, and I always revisit it when I travel in Rotterdam. When I drew my artwork, I missed the "c" in the spelling of "Plaswijckpark." After moving to the the U.S., I gradually lost my Dutch language skill, but I will forever keep my happy memory there.

I am in fifth grade. Art is a very fun hobby in my life and was excited about sharing my happy place with you. This contest gave me something to focus on in my spare time. I decided to draw a birds-eye view of my bedroom because this is where I am most creative. I read books, build legos, draw and listen to music. Thank you for considering my submission.

My happy place is my cousins' house in Seattle. I'm glad that I got to visit them last February, before the pandemic hit the country. My cousins are similar to my age and they're very fun. I love spending time with them in their house!
Entry 17
It is my sanctuary, where I study, read, learn new things. It is where I go when I feel upset, when I need to relax, and when I need to just get away from everything. It is also where I spend time with my sister building things, and playing. Where my Dad and I talk about basketball, piano, computer programming, and lots of other things. The best thing is when I go to sleep and dream, about playing like Kobe, being in the NBA, going to MIT, and just think about what the future holds. This is my happy place, my room.
