The invention of this vaccine is a great news to everyone, and health is the origin of happiness. I believe the labortory is the happy place because the COVID-19 vaccine comes from there.

Entry Description:

Growing up in California, art is very influential and all around us. One of the benefits of being a native of Orange County is having Disneyland just a short drive away! Since I was a young child, Disneyland has always been my happy place. It is my happy place because Walt Disney created a place that submerges you into a cartoon world. This cartoon world not only has brought imagination and a love of art into my heart, it has motivated me to become a cartoonist myself. In this picture I have drawn myself walking down Main Street USA. Look carefully at my self portrait and you will find five of my favorite elements of Disney Art. Inspired by Walt, my dream is to become a Cartoonist and Voice Actor which will allow me to create my own cartoon world and bring happiness to those who view it.

My room is my happy place because it makes me feel the most creative, inspired, and peaceful. Especially now, amid the chaos and uncertainty of the world, I feel comforted by this sacred space. My room fosters an environment where I can continue to work, create art, and envision a bright future ahead.

Entry Description:

Through tennis I found friendship. Through anime I found passion. So I combined the both to represent this drawing. Back in 6th grade, all my friends went to a different middle school and left me alone. One day, I started to practice tennis at a tennis center near me, and it made me feel even more lonely since everyone there had friends. Fortunately, two kids came up to me and started to talk to me. At that moment, I realized that I can end my loneliness if I befriend them. The next day at school, my luck skyrocketed. Those two kids I met also went to my school. Sadly, I realized I only had 1 class with them. But from that day on, I met more people through those two friends. I started to watch a few anime in 7th grade like Naruto and My Hero Academia. Like most anime watchers or weebs, I started to draw anime characters from the shows. I started to draw a few sketches on paper, and then I moved to a tablet to draw. This entry represents my happy place because I created many joyous moments that I will forever cherish. From playing tennis from my closest friends to drawing fanart of my favorite animes, these two hobbies truly impacted my life.

Entry Description:

My painting of a restaurant scene in Little Italy, San Diego represents my happy place because it brings so many good memories to mind. It has a special meaning to me because every year my family and I go to San Diego. Particularly there is a special place called Extraordinary Desserts that my brother and I always look forward to. They had so many beautifully decorated cakes, drinks, tarts, and even cookies of all kinds. Specifically, I remember always picking out a few desserts for the family to share; we always ended up with our stomach’s stuffed. In summary, being in Little Italy, San Diego, meant allowing ourselves to invest time in each other and to make amazing memories.

Entry Description:

Painting Name: Rush

This is my most recent and one of my favorite pieces. It captivated me while I was painting it because I was so excited to see the feeling of surfing taking form on the canvas. The surfer is dropping down the wave, which is my favorite part. If feels like a rush, and I cannot wait to get back to the water.
